Community Involvement


 

The topic of manufacturing in Mexico certainly gets its unfair share of negative press these days:

  • Mexico manufacturing eliminates jobs in the United States
  • Mexico maquiladoras have terrible working conditions
  • Any company Manufacturing in Mexico is only in it for the money
  • The list of negative comments goes on and on (and there is no need to elaborate here)…

However, we here at CaliBaja Manufacturing strongly believe that these undue prejudices would simply not exist if more people were to be informed of the positive impact that many maquiladoras (not just Calibaja) are having on their respective communities (both in Mexico and the United States).
